The September Church Meeting voted for the Philippine Community Fund to be the project we support after Phakamisa. For more information about their work visit their website www.p-c-f.org World Action Group.
Operation Christmas Child - Shoe Boxes. We will be supporting the Samaritan's Purse Shoe Box Appeal again this year. Leaflets are now available giving details of items which can or cannot be included. Completed boxes should be received by Sunday 2 November at the latest.
Space in the City - Autumn 2008 - When I'm Sixty-four. A celebration of the Third Age! Wednesday 1, 8, 15, 22 October, and 5, 12, 19 and 26 November 12.30 - 1pm at the United Church. Lectio Divina: We meet in the chapel at 7.30pm on Monday, 3 November. Join us for a time of silence and reflection and listening to God.
Wanted for Live at Home Christmas Fair, 29 November, 10 am - 12 noon. We need unwanted small picture frames (postcard-size or smaller), and empty medium-sized olive oil bottles and unwanted decorative gift boxes for our Christmas Fair. Thank you. Pamela Gilbert.
