Harvest Festival services and lunch
Our Harvest Festival will be held on Sunday 30 September. Our 9 o’clock morning service will be led by Howard, and then he and Anne will combine to lead our all-age worship at 10.30.
We are invited to bring our harvest gifts to the 10.30 service. As last year, gifts of food will be given to the Winchester Basics Bank. Gifts of flowers will be distributed to older and housebound members of our congregation.
Winchester Basics Bank supports those in need by providing food and clothing in an emergency. The items preferred by the Bank include: cereals, biscuits, coffee, tea, instant potato, and also tins of vegetables, meat, fruit, spaghetti and rice pudding. Please make sure that all food is well within its use-by date.
After the morning services there will be a church lunch. Everyone is welcome, but please make sure that you sign up for the lunch – maximum capacity is 100.
Do come and share in our thanksgiving to God for all his goodness to us.
